New Ads for 2012

In most Real Estate Advertising, most Agents either market themselves or market a property, my goal was to design an ad that was simple, attractive and where both the property/ neighborhood and the agent were both featured.

Good Food: Northstar Cafe

Photo: outside of Northstar Cafe Short North

Northstar Cafe is by far my favorite place to eat... you can probably find me at one of their locations at least once a week if not more often. They currently have 3 location around Columbus: the original Short North location, the second location in Beechwold (Just North of Clintonville) and now at Easton Town Center. Whenever I have a new client or family visiting from out of town, it's always a place I take them to. Described as "New American cuisine with a healthful emphasis on organic ingredients" - Northstarcafe.com. I've never had anything to eat that I wouldn't order again. They've also opened a newer concept in Grandview called 3rd and Hollywood. Check out what other people have to say about Northstar Cafe on Yelp.

Snapshot: 199 S Fifth Street

I just happened to be out yesterday in the early morning to take a photo of a new condo listing downtown, when I happened to go past, architecturally, one of my favorite buildings, 199 S 5th Street. Luckily, I was able to take a photo without all of the construction vehicles that are commonly out front. If you are not familiar with 199 S Fifth Street, it is an (underexposed, in my opinion) condo development with spacious floor plans, huge terraces, concrete floors and iPod docks in the walls. The rooftop has spectacular views and offers penthouses with floor to ceiling windows. I haven't seen the inside recently, I need to take a trip back and see the progress, it is definitely worth the trip. Prices on units range from $272,500 (for a 1000 sqft 1 bedroom 1.5 bath on the 3rd floor) to $750,000 (for a 2119 sqft 3 bedroom 3 bath on the 5th floor).

What I am working on...

1156 Jaeger Street (above) in German Village, just sold after 32 days on the market.

490 E Whittier Street (left) in Schumacher Place, just sold after coming back at 47 days on the market.

The 2008 Schumacher Place Home and Garden Tour is Saturday, June 14th. This year I am designing the tour book and it is just about to go to the printers.

Tim Welsh ,architect, of Urban Vision, just closed on a piece of land in Schumacher Place. Plans are for 2 LEED silver certified town homes in a modern design. It will be an unprecedented opportunity in Columbus/ Central Ohio to own green living. There is believed to be only one other LEED Silver certified residence in all of Ohio and it is in Cincinnati. When information becomes available, I will post it here.

Terraces on Walhalla has surpassed it's presale goal and well on it's way to breaking ground in what now looks to be (after waiting for a utility line to be relocated) the first week of June.
